Question: What does Close do?

Question: How does Close collect leads?


Answer: Close is designed to collect all of your communication history with a Lead within one view. This includes the content from email, instant messages and even social media like Twitter or Facebook that you may have interacted with them on. By default, Close imports Companies as ‘Leads’. The individuals at that company are seen as ‘Contacts’, and if you’re in the process of selling something to that lead we track this through ‘Opportunities’.



Question: What are ‘Opportunities’?


Answer: In Close, Opportunities add value to a Lead and help your team identify and keep track of what deals are on the verge of closing. Any Opportunity that is added to a Lead becomes visible in the ‘Opportunity Pipeline View’ and ‘Opportunities Overview’ screens, giving your team a high-level view. You can create new opportunities directly from any lead page by clicking on the + button next to opportunity section at left side: this will open up an option for you to set various values such as name - which allows you assign it more relevant information like who should get notified when its status changes or whether they need approval before taking further action; Priority level (low/high); Status (active/inactive).



Question: Can I use Close for emails?


Answer: Close is a centralized communication hub for your business. Having all of the relevant information in one place helps you and other team members respond quickly to customer needs, making it easier than ever before. To email a Lead using Close, just find their contact info then click on ‘email’. You can also do this with multiple contacts at once if needed! Then craft an engaging message like any normal email client would allow you to- embed images or links as necessary by clicking attachments tab within messages window.



Question: How do email sequences work?


Answer: Ever send an email and then wait for someone to respond? Don’t worry, it’s not just you who has sent emails in a sequence. Let me explain what this means so that even if it seems like I’m talking about something vague, you’ll still have some idea of the context! When we say ‘email sequences’, we’re actually referring to those times when one person sends multiple requests without any response from another party on the other side. You might be wondering how these things work or why they exist at all - don’t fret because I’ve got your back with a quick explanation: An email sequence is set up by sending series of messages between two people over time (usually across days) until either person replies to anything that is synced with Close.



Question: Can I manage my meetings within Close?


Answer: Meeting Sync is the easiest way to run a meeting! With Meeting Sync, scheduled meetings with Contacts can automatically be pulled into Close. If you allow access from your Google account, Close can search for new and past meetings on your behalf--saving time before Sales Calls by giving reps information about their upcoming or just completed sales opportunity so they know what’s coming next.

Answer: Close’s built-in calling can help your team simplify outreach and increase reach rates. Using the phone popover you can: See your outgoing Caller ID number and change it if you have multiple numbers associated with your account, Adjust recording preferences for all or just one of up to 10 simultaneous calls (available on Business plan), Manage headset/microphone settings using manual dialing from any location as well as features like call forwarding to other phones.
